“So, How does ordering custom cabinetry from Handcraft Cabinetry work?”

First, Handcraft Cabinetry will come to your home or business to discuss your project and take initial measurements in order to estimate the job.

Next, Handcraft Cabinetry will prepare a proposal for your approval based on drawings submitted by you, your designer, or upon sketches prepared by Handcraft Cabinetry.

If the proposal is acceptable we ask you to set up an appointment to come into Handcraft.  At this time we can review your project and finalize details such as your door style and molding profiles.  We can then set an approximate installation schedule once we have a signed proposal and 50% deposit.

Our typical lead-time is from 12 to 14 weeks and is based on our best estimate of how long it will take to complete all of the jobs we are contracted for.  There are many circumstances which can affect our lead time, please realize our first priority is to producing a product of the highest quality.

Once completed, we will call to confirm the date and set up a time for installation.  Please ensure that whoever is present for the installation has the necessary access, and that there are no obstructions to installation.

On the day of installation, Handcraft Cabinetry, Inc. craftsmen will arrive with all tools and materials to install your custom cabinetry.  Please ensure that your second payment of 40% of the job is ready for the Handcraft Cabinetry installers.  We can perform minor electrical work and plumbing incident to the installation if arranged prior to installation. Because you will probably want to personalize your custom cabinetry and/or match it to your existing décor, you will be responsible for providing the hardware for your cabinets at the time of installation.  Handcraft Cabinetry craftsmen will gladly apply your custom hardware at the time of initial installation.

Upon completion of work, Handcraft Cabinetry craftsmen will remove all debris and excess materials and will vacuum the area immediately surrounding your new cabinet.

When your project is satisfactorily completed a final invoice will be sent requesting the remaining 10%
